The recent horrific shootings in Buffalo, NY and Uvalde, TX were carried out by evil, deranged individuals capable of senseless murder. They are terrible tragedies, and our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones. Anti-gunners are blaming the firearms used rather than the demented individuals who used them. Predictably, the anti-gun crowd is using the raw emotions felt by all to implement their long desired political agenda of disarming law-abiding U.S. citizens.
It is okay to simultaneously feel deep remorse for the victims of these terrible acts and feel a deep conviction to the U.S. Constitution and its Second Amendment. In times like these, Second Amendment supporters must stand for their rights to keep and bear arms, even though it may seem unpopular at the moment. Weak-kneed RINOs are lining up with Democrats to take away our rights and continue down the slippery slope to outright gun confiscation.
It is time to stand up and let our elected officials know we won’t stand for that! Call, write, email, and/or visit their offices. Start with Senators Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn who are leading the charge in the Senate to work with Democrats on “bipartisan” gun control laws. Then, contact your Senators and your Representative.
Tell them law-abiding citizens are AGAINST:
Red Flag Gun Confiscation,
Gun Registration,
So-called "Assault Weapons" bans, and
Negotiating with Democrats on gun any control laws

It is that time in politics when I end up sleeping most of my old friends for 30 days. To quote John Cleese's Architect sketch: "Yes, well, that's the sort of blinkered, philistine pig ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage." The complete misunderstanding of the relationship of all forms of violence with one another (it's not just one that's the problem)... The misquoting of data, showing no knowledge of the history of violence (we aren't even CLOSE to the peak of 50 years ago)... Claiming evidence where none exists... Now? I just finished a book named "Truth" which deals with how people parse data to say what they want the data to say. So, they get a hashtag: #misleadingtruth. So…
